The First of Many

I've been thinking about this for quite some time. I know a lot of people that participate, and I'm finally thinking that there might be something to this crowd. I'm not sure what a "good blog" consists of, but all I can say is that my blogs will be...genuine?

It is late. It's not the kind of late that encompasses a "late night snack" or "late night movie," it's the "I'm sick and have too much on my mind to sleep so I created this blog" kind of late. I have a GIANT project due soon; one that I just figured out what the topic should be. I also have a test Monday in a German class that covered far too much material while I was out sick, thus leaving me behind. I MUST get my oil changed. I'm pretty sure that driving an extra 1,300 miles after the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light came on was a bad idea. In order to get my oil changed, I have to clean out my car. It's really embarrassing when you take your car to the dealership or auto shop and it's a mess. Also, and nothing against mechanics, I feel like if there's a bunch of stuff in my car, something will get stolen and I won't realize it's gone until days later when I'm sifting through the clutter. Speaking of cleaning, my room is a disaster, which is what I have been using as an excuse to not study. Did I mention I was sick?
Work isn't going so well, which means I have to scrounge together enough money for rent again. When your sick all of the time and have to call out of work it doesn't really make things easier. The bad thing about the hospitality industry is that you have to depend on the kindness of others to make your money (TIPS!), and lately----people generally SUCK, at least when they come in to eat or drink.
 With that, and I know---this is weak for a first blog (should I be telling you about myself?)---I'm going to take some medicine and go to bed in hopes of not being worthless tomorrow. Maybe I'll be able to write something better and less concise once I'm well. Let's hope so.
